As I have already said before, I will share again about Beihai Park. I did go to Beihai Park again a week after the first visit hehe..

The second visit, I went there with my classmates. At first, we didn’t really have a purpose, just thinking about walking around at Beihai Park as they haven’t been there.

We suddenly saw an ice rink. Yes, it was originally a pond that had been frozen during winter.

And one of my friend interested to give it a try, so here we are!

This is not my first time to play ice skating, as there is an ice rink in my hometown as well (but that’s one is human made ice rink, not a frozen pond hahaha).

Honestly, I can’t play skating, so at the first place I was unsure to play it. But I think, it would be fun to give it a try, skating on a frozen pond.

My friends are too expert to be compared to me haha..

I learned how to skate and my friends taught me.

Even random uncles told me how to move my leg properly LOL

And yeay, I finally did it! Thanks to my friends hahaha..

For information, we went there on mid-January. So if anyone of you interested to play ice skating on frozen pond, you can go to Beihai Park!

正如我之前已经说过的，现在我还要再分享北海公园。去了北海公园的一个星期后，我又到那儿去了哈哈。

第二次，我是与同学们去的。最初，我们本来没有打算的，只想在北海公园逛一逛由朋友们都还没去过那儿。

逛了一半，突然看见了冰场。对了，那冰场本来是胡，冬天时冻结了。

一位朋友就很好奇，想试一试。那，我们就在这儿啦！

这不是我第一次滑冰，在我家乡也有冰场（可是是人造的冰场，而不是冻结的湖哈哈哈）。

说实话，我不会滑冰，于是我不太想玩。可是，我想了又想，可以在冰场上滑冰应该是特别有意思的经验。

我呢，比不上朋友们，他们都很厉害地滑冰。

朋友就教我如何滑冰，我才在那儿学滑冰的哈哈哈。

连有一位叔叔都告诉我如何正确地移动我的腿。

终于我做的到了，我会滑冰啦！谢谢朋友们哈哈哈。

The beginning of the 2014 New Year, I went to Lama Temple which also known as Yonghe Temple for praying.

I couldn’t share too much about this, as we can’t take a picture at such a holy place like temple, especially the statue inside the temple (actually you can google it for more information hahaha).

Here is the pathway into the temple.

You have to pay for the entrance, and then you will get a pack of incense sticks and CD. So you can use the incense sticks to pray at every statue inside.

There is a giant statue, Maitreya Statue, which is very big and tall. I have never seen such a big statue before hehe..

That’s all for Lama Temple, I will continue sharing other places in one post.

So, the day after I visited Lama Temple, I made an appointment with my high school friend who coincidentally in Beijing for studying too (just like me hehe).

Our first destination was Beihai Park. We went there on Sunday morning, and as we got inside, there was a crowd of elder who was exercising.

It was winter in January, and the river was still frozen.

We walked around Beihai Park and took so much photos.

And found another crowd again hahaha..

After finished, we continued to the second place: Bell and Drum Towers.

On the previous post #07, I’ve mentioned about Bell and Drum Towers when I visited Xi An. And now, as I promised before, I will share about Bell and Drum Towers in Beijing.

To get inside, we had to climb narrow and steep stairs, huff..

I felt so hard to climb it, as I was afraid I would fall down hahaha. And the problem is, after I reached the top, I would need to go down by that narrow and steep stairs again!

And tadaaahh… here are the drums!

Next: Bell Tower.

And yes, narrow and steep stairs again! OH NO!!

I think I got a phobia for thing like this hahaha..

Finally, reach the top! (Don’t mention that I would need to go down those stairs temporarily)

Lighting was too strong that made me feel so holy for a while LOL.

Unconsciously, I almost finish sharing all the places I’ve visited. Next post, I will still share about Beihai Park. Why? It’s winter and the water was frozen, so it could be fantastic. Stay tune until the last post: Harbin!
